A MEETING WAS HELD
The transportation and logistics management of the export and import of landlocked Mongolia is fully borne by private freight forward entities of Mongolia. To assist in overcoming the challenges and the bottleneck faced by these companies, the Mongolian Maritime Administration established the Memorandum of Understanding with the Non-Governmental Organization the Mongolian National Freight Forwarders’ Association in 2018.
Within the frame of the MOU, parties cooperate in ratifying action plans, according to which organize meetings, seminars, discussions, and other relevant events. The annual meeting with the Board of Directors of the NGO was held on March 22, 2023, in the office of the Maritime Administration.
Representatives of the NGO P. Solongo, GD of “Asian Way” Co., Ltd, G.Orgil GD of “New Logistics” Co., Ltd, I.Shatarkhuu, GD of “E-Links” Co., Ltd and J.Mongoljingoo, Deputy Director of the Tuushin Co.,Ltd, and Ms. Undarmaa the Executive Director of the Association participated in the meeting, organized by the MMA.
During the annual meeting, the Head of the Administration D.Otgonsuren gave a short introduction relating to the Governmental Policy and Plans of the Intergovernmental Agreement on “Dry port” and participants discussed the method of implementation and roles of private entities.
Plan for the 2023 was discussed and confirmed by the parties.
