Announcement: Scholarship of Vietnam Maritime University International School of Education
As a pioneering unit of VMU in creating an international study environment, International School of Education (ISE) is assigned by the university to conduct higher education programs in English. This is currently running 03 undergraduate Bachelor programs namely as below:
Global Studies and Maritime Affairs (GMA)
International Business and Logistics (IBL)
Marketing management (BMM)
Every year, They offer scholarships and recruit international students and they are proud to have students from the USA, Mozambique, Denmark, North Korea, South Africa, etc, attending this programs.
In the upcoming academic year of 2022-2023, we are glad to offer scholarships for Mongolian students as following:
01 (one) scholarship of 100% tuition fee, along with full-time dormitory cover;
02 (two) scholarships of 70% tuition fee;
02 (two) scholarships of 50% tuition fee;
Various scholarships of 30% tuition fee.
Note: These scholarships are granted for the entire 4 years on condition that students study result is “Fair” (Equivalent to 2.5 GPA on a scale of 4 or above).
In order to apply for the program and/or scholarship, the candidate must have high-school certificate and meet our minimum entrance requirement of English fluency which is IELTS 4.0 or equivalent.
For those who have not reached sufficient English proficiency, ISE will organize English class to provide the students with proper English preparations, with the cost being paid by students themselves at $700 for 10 weeks.
Required documents (in English or Vietnamese):
Application form;
Copy of High School Certificate;
Copy of English certificate IELTS≥4.0 or equivalent;
Copy of judicial records;
Medical certificate issued by a competent health authority of the original country within 6 months before the admission.
6 photos 4x6 taken within 6 months before the admission.

APPENDIX I
DOCUMENT CHECKLIST
Each applicant should submit 01 set of documents (printed on A4-size paper) listed hereunder. Documents in languages other than English or Vietnamese must be attached with duly notarized translation into English or Vietnamese. The submitted documents will not any case be returned to the applicants.
Completed application form.
Copies and translation of high school degrees (or equivalent) and academic transcripts duly notarized or certified by competent authorities of the sending country.
Medical examination certificate issued within 6 months from the date of application by competent health authorities of the sending country or by Vietnamese central, municipal or provincial medical bodies, clearly stating that the applicant is healthy and fit for overseas study.
Duly certified copies of Vietnamese Proficiency Certificates issued by competent educational institutions or internationally recognized certificate of the foreign language to be used for study in Vietnam (if any).
Research proposal (for PhD applicants) or Plan of practical training (for Internship applicants).
Letters of Recommendation provided by 02 researchers or academics who hold doctorate degrees and have similar fields of research (applicable to PhD applicants)
Duly certified copies of documents and certificates about the applicant`s aptitude, expertise, research achievements, … (if any)
Copy of passport with a validity of the expected duration of study in Vietnam or at least 1
year from the expected arrival in Vietnam.
