More than 90 percent of world trade is carried out by sea. The contribution of seafarers working on the vessels in maritime industry to the global economy is valuable and enormous. Therefore, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has declared the date of June 25 as the DAY OF THE SEAFARER since 2011.  For the Maritime Sector of Mongolia, we are going to celebrate this day with a glad event which the Maritime Law of Mongolia has been renewed in accordance with the binding international treaties and conventions. 
The Maritime Administration of Mongolia would like to congratulate all national seafarers and every officials who have contributed to the maritime sector of Mongolia until today. 
                                                                          May the Ocean be Clean!
