Information about the cooperation organization
On the invitation of the High Representative for LDCs, LLDCs and SIDS of the UN, the INTERNATIONAL THINK TANK FOR LLDCs has participated in the 7th Inter-Agency Consultative Group Meeting of the United Nations system and international organizations on the implementation of the Vienna Programme of Action for Landlocked Developing Countries for the Decade 2014-2024 on November 14, 2018 in New York, USA.
The consultative meeting has addressed challenges and activities towards implementation of the Vienna Programme of Action and discussed the intergovernmental preparations for the midterm review of the implementation of the VPoA. Participating organizations consulted on substantive preparations for the midterm review, including thematic pre-conference events and side events in the lead up to and during the midterm review.
At the meeting Executive Director of the ITTLLDC Mr. Erdenetsogt Odbayar had the opportunity to meet UN system and international organizations and discussed potential joint events to be organized in 2019.
